If you want to join a fast-paced, innovative team that is making history, reinventing an industry and breaking new ground for Amazon, this is the place for you

The Surface Transportation org is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Maintenance business that supports all Middle Mile assets (tractors, trailers, box trucks, hostlers). We are looking for highly motivated and entrepreneurial people who are excited to deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company.

This role will require strong leadership skills and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business. The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, be energized by a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable thinking big while also diving deep, will have high judgement and comfort managing senior stakeholders. Decreasing asset downtime yields increased asset availability reducing the need for rental, along with new equipment procurement. Your goal is to know why the assets are reaching unavailable status to determine a path forward reducing or eliminating occurrences in the future.

A successful individual in this role must be skilled at breaking down complex problems into prioritized, executable phases. You will evaluate the data down to component and assembly level of detail to identify areas of focus. The role requires regular interactions with multiple teams and jointly working with them to meet both short term and long term business needs.

- Drive resolution of critical asset issues as well as support processes/systems deep dives to ensure root cause analysis and correction resulting in improved customer experience.
