Position Title: Parish Business Manager

Job Classification: Full-Time, Exempt, Non-Ministerial The Parish Business Manager is an administrator in support of the pastor's responsibilities of the parish. This administrator is a steward of the physical, financial, and personnel resources of the parish. Reports to: Rev. Andrew Budzinski, Pastor
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains accuracy of financial files and records and maintains a responsible cash flow management system Prepare, administer, and review the budget process in collaboration with parish staff and the finance committee for proposal to pastor Act as liaison between parish and diocese in financial matters Oversee parish organizational funds Direct the management of the parish office Oversee the management of parish records aintain and foster good working relationships and effective communications with stakeholders (co-workers, school staff, parishioners, vendors, parish groups) Consult with and advise Pastor and Principal on business and administrative matters that affect the parish and school Supervise any large capital project Oversee the human resource function of the parish and school Attend parish staff meetings, diocesan meetings, and serve on the pastoral and/or finance committee if requested by the Pastor Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all needs of the physical campus are met including preventative maintenance Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, or related field OR equivalent work experience 3-5 years of supervisory experience A high level of confidentiality Proficient with Microsoft Office and related programs; ability to learn other software as needed Ability to manage multiple tasks well Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and be flexible Availability to attend frequent evening meetings and/or work on weekends and work an unpredictable schedule if necessary
Work Schedule: The standard work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with additional hours as needed based on parish needs.
