Position Summary:
The primary objective of the plastic welder is to set-up and operate fabrication equipment according to print specifications to meet the production demands in a timely manner. In addition to ensuring that quality guidelines and customer expectations are being met to the Satellite Suite standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and engineering instructions Cut and shape material to required specs Operating plastic fabricating/welding equipment Understand and meet safety, quality, productivity and delivery goals and expectations Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipmentQualifications:
Previous experience in plastic welding a plus. At least two years of related experience and/or training Understanding of all equipment, tools, and gages related to fabrication Must be able to read a blueprints Attention to detail Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Effective communication and problem solving Exceptional attendance recordOther Duties
