Position Overview

Role Summary:

The main responsibility of the plastic fabrication specialist is to efficiently set up and operate various fabrication machinery in accordance with technical specifications to fulfill production requirements promptly. This role also involves ensuring adherence to quality standards and meeting customer expectations as per the guidelines of Satellite Shelters, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
  • Shape and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Operate plastic welding and fabrication machinery
  • Achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives
  • Maintain and service all workshop tools, machines, and equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in plastic welding is advantageous.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Familiarity with all tools, equipment, and gauges related to fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Consistent attendance record
