Job Summary

Provide administrative support of a unit’s routine business or academic activities. Minimum Education and Experience

High school graduate or equivalent: Some college coursework or relevant experience.

Preferred Education and Experience Comfortable with MS Office Suite. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists multiple faculty with business operations of an area. Answers questions, provides advice to faculty regarding university policies and procedures as well as relevant policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to purchasing and ordering, travel, hotel arrangement, and reimbursement, account reconciliation, and room/resource access. May assist faculty with communication to their students. May assist faculty with correspondence, editing of documents. The employee will serve as the initial point of contact of the area. A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
