Maintenance Tech Planning Coordinator– 1st Shift

Seeking a motivated  Maintenance Tech Planning Coordinator  to join our team. Responsible for ordering, receiving, and maintaining parts and supplies in a fast-paced production environment.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

1st Shift: 8 AM to 4:30PM, Monday – Saturday. Starting hourly pay of $24. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or geographic location. Comprehensive Nestlé benefits after 30 days of employment. Yearly reviews and raises.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

Requests quotes, places purchase orders for parts and supplies, and completes related paperwork. Generates a weekly status update for pending quotes and purchase orders. Sources parts, manufacturers, and distributors through available resources. Prepares and coordinates bill of ladings and incoming and outgoing maintenance. Assists with receiving, inspection, distribution, and storage of parts. Assists mechanics and supervisors with emergency orders through Manufacturers’ Tech support, customer service, parts departments, drawings, and instruction manuals on the internet. Fills in for MRO and performs inventory cycle counts, as needed. Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted. Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required. High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent, preferred. Experience with computers including CMMS, Microsoft, PDF, and SAP applications. 

SKILLS:

Previous experience in a purchasing environment preferred. Sound technical skills, logical ability, and strong problem analysis and resolutions skills. Ability to write standard information into related paperwork and present to management. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to speak, write, and understand English. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.
