I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health andHuman Services Commission requires the services of1 Project Manager 2 hereafter referredto as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications ofProject Manager 2 Project Managementand the specifications outlined in this document forthe Texas Health and Human ServicesCommission.
Project managersare the people in charge of a specific project or projects within acompany. As the project manager your job is to plan budget overseeand document all aspects of the specific project you are workingon. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of ateam to get the jobdone.
This Project Manager contractorposition is part of the Administrative Applications Production DataServices team and will be working on the development andimplementation of modifications and enhancements to the FinancialData Warehouse. This position will perform the duties of projectmanagement including the implementation of standard projectmanagement industry practices for Agile teams. Understands the PMIframework as well as how to establish a project organization andmethodology within Agile (Scrum) organizations. Understandsbusiness and technical objectives of a project and works closelywith multiple key project stakeholders. Communicates to clients andIT teams. Creates project charters work plans and other relatedproject artifacts as necessary. Provides technical support bothduring work hours and oncall as necessary. Must be able tocomprehend and communicate complex technical designs andimplementations as well as complex business processes. Develops andmakes presentations as required to leadership and oversightentities.
