Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager

Location: East Coast

Ability to travel throughout Southern Pennsylvania to Northern Georgia

Capital Electric has an opening for an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager. This position is responsible to grow the electrical sales in the water/wastewater market. This position will focus on motor control, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and power distribution products.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business plans for growing water/wastewater market including lead generation and cold calling Leveraging and influencing the local outside sales account managers Establish yourself as a trusted advisor with the customer Supporting industrial end user accounts, systems integrators, panel builders and OEM customers in the water/wastewater industry Keeping up with new product development and relaying the information to the customer Help the account manager develop new customer relationships Generate sales quoting opportunities Automation and Control growth including PLCs, drives, sensor, HMIs etc Keeping up with required vendor training Attend training as required by Capital Electric Must be able to work within a cohesive team Other duties as required

Requirements

Electrical experience and/or municipal water/wastewater experience preferred Must have experience with PLCs, Drives, Sensors, etc. Customer service background is a plus Strong work ethic, strong follow through and organizational skills Computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Work and Excel Ability to travel throughout southern Pennsylvania to northern Georgia
