Senior Director of Sourcing and Asset Management

:POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Sourcing and Asset Management will spearhead the development of an optimal sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives, overseeing asset lifecycle management and supply chain optimization. Responsibilities include strategic partnership with key leaders, supplier development, and business systems development to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Key focuses include purchasing, asset management, equipment logistics, and integration of M&A activities. This role plays a critical part in guiding build vs. buy decisions and fostering integrated relationships with equipment manufacturers.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead purchasing and asset management, and foster staff development. Provide leadership for M&A activities and optimize asset procurement and management strategies. Develop and execute life cycle models for rental equipment fleet. Analyze and optimize service center network for value-driven outcomes. Oversee departmental projects, implement cost-saving strategies, and drive performance goals. Develop supplier management programs and identify market trends for sourcing. Offer logistics expertise to reduce costs and improve customer service. Implement continuous improvement initiatives and travel as needed. Perform other assigned duties.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business-related areas; MBA preferred. Strong leadership and analytical skills. 10 or more years of prior asset and supply chain management and leadership experience. Preferably, experience in the Medical Device or Healthcare industry.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Proficiency in building and leading operational and financial models, analyzing diverse scenarios, and synthesizing recommendations. Strong executive presence, capable of summarizing complex topics for senior management. Experience overseeing capital plans and budgets. Polished, proactive, and confident with a positive attitude, skilled in change implementation. Solid business acumen, including cost accounting and P&L understanding. Familiarity with continuous improvement processes. Expertise in sourcing strategies for build vs. buy and insource vs. outsource decisions.DISCLAIMER
