Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Release Manager for Network Engineering at DISH, you will play a key role in the Release Management team. You will coordinate and manage the release of hardware, software, and configuration activities, utilizing agile principles and methodologies.
In this position, you will oversee technical release functions throughout the release management lifecycle—from development and lab testing to pre-production and production. This role provides organizational visibility and is crucial in delivering and maintaining a best-in-class 5G operational network.

In this role you will:
Partner with Program Managers to execute release candidates. Assist in software and hardware upgrades to maintain high performance. Coordinate and ensure the success of interdependent or singular releases. Develop network test, validation, and integration plans for release candidates. Coordinate operational handoff for new releases and Go-Live activities. Act as Subject Matter Expert for Non-Production Environments and support testing activities. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of Project Management experience.Skills and Qualifications:
Understanding of LTE, VoLTE, and 5G VoNR call flows, 5G functional components, and Cisco ACI. Professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space, with networking certifications preferred. Public cloud certifications and ability to multitask, solve issues, and assist in Release Candidate Implementation. Demonstrated knowledge across Telco services domains and software development processes. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, curiosity for continuous learning, and outstanding communication skills. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
