The Rental Operations Analyst will help drive the success of the business by providing insightful analysis and strategic problem-solving solutions to various business partners which will aid in resolving escalated customer satisfaction issues. This role is responsible for collaborating with the yield, resort staff, inventory management, and operations teams on daily inventory needs including but not limited to validating property inventory levels, confirming room assignments/occupancy, validating overbookings/potential walks, and handling room or property moves as needed. Evaluate property trends on no-shows. Evaluate multiple systems for reservation status validation. Evaluate available competitors in the market for the best fit for reservation fulfillment needs. Update reservation reporting from overbooking processes. Follow-through on the full process of arrival verification, system validation, review of room availability in the market, and customer service action recommendations. Operations/Yield Ad hoc projects as needed. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

How You'll Shine:

Take data provided by internal /external partners and customers to develop recommendations that assist business decisions about but not exclusive to customer relocations, customer behavior, customer loyalty, and business performance on spend decisions.

Collaborate with internal and external business partners to share best practices and provide business insights, as well as proactive communication.

Communicate findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization clearly and concisely.

Works closely with rental operations, yield, inventory management, resort operations, and other partners to create meaningful and insightful processes that track and measure the performance of the business and drive actions while identifying areas of opportunity to improve operations efficiencies. 

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

3+ years of demonstrated resort/hotel operations or revenue yield management experience in a multi-property environment.

1+ years of customer service experience preferred.

Experience in compiling and aggregating data across business information systems to provide strategic and actionable insights.

Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills. Solid oral, written, and presentation as well as strong interpersonal skills. Able to convey information and ideas clearly.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities in an efficient/timely manner, operating in a team lead capacity. Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Timely documentation of operational processes applicable to assigned resorts.

Collaboration with various partners to develop training materials and share best practices.

Exhibit problem-solving skills in difficult situations. Ability to identify and provide solutions.

Must be able to effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably.

Knowledge of third-party extranet and PMS systems preferred.

Learning and navigating various systems and applications. Knowledge of RCC, Micros Opera, I-Hotelier, Travel Click, Focus, or ION a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Microsoft Excel: Intermediate level (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)

Experience with Business Intelligence applications (i.e., PowerBI, SharePoint) preferred.
