Pay: Up to $90/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Art Director to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 9 contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and will require working onsite in New York City, NY. The Art Director will be directing work that is used across different channels and collaborating with producers, designers, illustrators, and animators.
Art Director Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and being hands-on for assets such as illustrations, publications, brochures, manuals, marketing materials, advertisements, and forms.
- Define opportunities that could be turned into concepts and treatments based on what stakeholders need.
- Deliver unique and engaging work through the use of typography, layouts, and imagery.
- Create new concepts and designs for assigned briefs.
- Design custom illustrations and have them be delivered on deadline.
- Work on assets for both internal and external audiences.
- Ensure that the materials being created meet the brand voice, look, and design standards.
- Be able to think from a systems standpoint and how the materials are being used by audiences.
- Present ideas and concepts to team members and stakeholders.
Art Director Requirements:
- At least 7+ years' experience either agency side or in-house marketing. Experience working in the tech space or on tech clients is ideal.
- Portfolio showcasing a wide range of work- especially illustration.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Highly skilled with Adobe Creative Suite and ideally experience with Adobe publishing.
