We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Senior Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This pivotal role will oversee the planning, execution, and estimating of complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of civil construction projects, mainly roadway construction.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
  • Estimating and Budgeting:
    • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for bidding purposes.
    • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
    • Review bids, negotiate contracts, and manage budget allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project goals and expectations.
    • Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
    • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Promote and enforce a culture of safety on site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team cohesion and performance.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Encourage professional growth and development among team members.

Requirements:Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineer recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
  • Experience running self-perform concrete projects with successful outcomes.
  • Project setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must
  • Exceptional understanding of critical path scheduling for self-perform work.
  • Experience leading successful project team, including the development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities
  • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on my own as well as in a team environment.
