Job Description

Quality Optimization Engineer Lead (U.S. Hub Based)

The Quality Optimization Engineer Lead will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement quality programs, such as First Time Right (FTR) and Product Release Optimization across various operations sites within Philips, while also spearheading efforts to drive cost savings and process enhancements. This position presents a unique opportunity to drive significant improvements in both quality and efficiency across our manufacturing operations.

Your role:

You're the right fit if:

You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience in Quality Management or related areas within Medical Device (strongly preferred) or other regulated industries. You have strong experience in DMAIC Methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) or equivalent problem-solving methodology. You have experience mentoring and coaching, and with leading projects (project management). Experience developing quality improvement strategies preferred. Experience in training trainers and coach development is a plus. Experience delivering formal curriculum is also a plus. Your skills include strong communication and organizational skills; comfortability presenting to a broad audience of learners from different levels within the organization; strong analytical skills to interpret and present data (Data analytics applied to Quality). You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field such as Mathematics or Statistics. You are Six Sigma Green belt certified (black belt strongly preferred). You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You’re self-driven and able to work independently, and a strong team player/collaborator with experience working with international cross functional/multidisciplinary teams.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $104,300 to $200,256, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
