This is an in office Temp to Hire opportunity and the AR Specialist will be responsible for posting cash receipts on a daily basis; conducting research and analysis on accounts to ensure accurate and timely application of payments; mailing of invoices and statements along with resolution of receipt discrepancies.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide AR support to AR Supervisor and accounting team.
  • Post customer payments by recording checks, wires, and credit card transactions.
  • Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
  • Daily processing of invoices for assigned clients.
  • Audit of procedures to look for improvements to efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with cash applications and payment posting processes
  • Proficiency with  MS Office and Sage is preferred
  • 3+years accounts receivable experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment, with significant deadlines
