Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Principal Program Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of one or multiple programs (family of programs), with an emphasis on new development efforts and/or production programs. This role requires a broad understanding of all aspects of a program, from ideation to production as well as in-service support. Customer-facing, you will have great business acumen, making judicious decisions to achieve customer satisfaction while successfully executing your programs on time, on schedule, and on budget. In this role you have the opportunity to lead highly diverse cross functional teams composed of contracts, program planning, finance, operations, and engineering, to develop next-generation high-performance embedded processing solutions. You will be a part of a world-class Team in our Processing Technologies Business Unit, a leading provider of dense, rugged, secure compute solutions for next generation aerospace and defense applications. You will be a part of our Compute Line of Business, where we design, develop, and produce embedded computers, networking appliances, storage solutions, and integration processing subsystems. We are an agile team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality products to our customers on time and on budget.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop plans for the execution of Customers and internal programs, including schedules and estimatesExecute Programs to scope, schedule, cost (development and products), and quality over their full lifecycle, by internal processes and contractual obligations, for customers worldwideIdentify and manage Scope Changes through their approval and executionEnsure on-time delivery of deliverables (documentation and products)Perform Risk and Opportunities Management, including definition and execution of action plans for risks mitigation to prevent adverse effects, and escalate issues promptlyProvide details of resources required for successful programs executionRespond to related Request for Proposals (RFPs), coordinate and develop proposals and related documentation, including schedules, estimates, compliance matrices, programmatic volume, and bid review materialCreate Statements of Work and perform Sub-Contract management, as requiredPresent Programs status to the leadership team, weekly and monthly, including reporting on Programs’ KPIs and critical pathPoint of Contact for Customers, develop and execute action plans for Customers and Organization satisfaction, including problems solving, obsolescence management, and in-service supportContribute to and lead processes and tools improvements and deployment Conduct internal audits, as required Team with Operations, Engineering, and Business Development to ensure that all are informed and involved in decisions affecting their areasManage all customer expectations and communicates professionally

Worksite location options:

Onsite: Andover, MA ; Hudson, NH (9/80 schedule)Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite & WFH the remainder of the week (based on business needs)Remote: 100% WFH is not authorized for this role based on team needs

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant technical experienceExperienced leading technical projects for product development programsAerospace & Defense, or Satellite Communications SATCOM Industry experienceAbility to communicate effectively with customers, internal and externalSolid knowledge of program scheduling tools, such as MS ProjectAbility to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with customers at all levels of the organizationExcellent presentation skillsAbility to obtain a DoD clearance if needed (US Citizens only)

Preferred Qualifications:

Development and/or Production PM experienceProgram Management certification preferred (PMP)Experienced with documentation and collaboration tools, such as Confluence and SharePointKnowledge of Government contracting practices, Earned Value Management (EVMS), and standard program reporting metricsExperience managing Programs in a multi-site matrix organizationExperience with Military and Commercial ProgramsExperience with Contract Management, Sub-Contract ManagementKnowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and Export RegulationsPrior external customer support/interface experience
