General Summary of Position:

The School of Education in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks applicants for various adjunct positions for the 2024-2025 academic year. Courses available are at the graduate levels (i.e. Master's and Doctoral).

Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of the desired teaching area and commitment to inclusive, anti-racist teaching. The University of Massachusetts Lowell is committed to increasing diversity in its faculty, staff, and student populations. 

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education (ABD may be considered) Experience in K-12 education settings

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience at the college level Prior experience with and online teaching and experience with Blackboard or other LMS systems Ability to teach one or more courses in the following areas: Organizational Leadership Special Education (Methods, Assessment, Introduction) Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Basic Quantitative Methods Basic Qualitative Methods Teaching Elementary Science Introduction to Teaching Family & Community Engagement Sheltered English Instruction/Teaching Emergent Multilingual Students Reading and Language
