The Department of Surgery is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Graduate Student to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Will participate in research activities under the direction of Dr. Walter Koch.
Focus will be on basic/translational heart failure project targeting G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 (GRK2).
Work with Postdoctoral Fellows in identifying interacting proteins of GRK2 in cardiomyocytes that play a role in inhibiting GRK2 through S-nitrosylation via nitric oxide modification.
Research will involve primarily cell culture work but some mouse hearts.
