Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Psychologist to lead our Clinical Psychology and Master's Level Advanced Practicum Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide oversight and leadership for training program activities, ensuring that our interns receive the highest quality education and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the training program, ensuring alignment with CAPS mission, Student Affairs, and Duke University goals.
  • Training Program Administration: Develop and implement training policies and procedures, consistent with CAPS policy, ethical guidelines, best practices, and applicable state and federal statutes.
  • Supervision and Clinical Services: Provide individual, couples, and group services, as well as participate in mental health triage services, crisis response, and consultation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain complete, accurate, timely, and confidential documents in an electronic health record, and complete clinical documentation according to CAPS policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Attend CAPS staff, clinical team, and committee meetings, participate in Division of Student Affairs Committees, and attend CAPS' sponsored professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Ph.D. or PsyD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Licensure or immediate eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of post-grad experience in a clinical setting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, team building, leadership, and communication skills, self-motivated and able to manage independent projects and collaborative teamwork.
