Primary Purpose of Position

The university seeks a dynamic and innovative visionary to serve in an informational role with prospective students, parents and high school counselors. The counselor will manage a assigned geographic territory to recruit a diverse, qualified and talented group of students to the university. Additionally, the admissions counselor will assist with on-camps visitation programs, campus tours, conveying information about the university and the admissions process to prospective students, and parents by means of college fairs, school visits, written communication, e-mail, social media, telecounseling , yield activities and sponsoring the student-volunteer Eagle Ambassador program. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Identifies, recruits, and enrolls prospective students in a designated market; manages a recruitment territory, develops recruitment strategies, plans and arranges all phases of regional and local travel; conducts office-based contact by mail and phone with students, and parents if applicable. Minimum Education/Experience A Bachelor’s degree, outstanding public speaking , oral and written skills, excellent computer skills, outstanding customer service skills and a valid driver’s license. Licenses or Certification required by Statute or Regulation No
