TruStile Doors, a Marvin brand and a leading manufacturer of high-quality interior and exterior doors is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to lead and optimize the residential dealer-based sales operations in the Western region of the United States. This region includes AZ, CA, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY. This position will involve leading a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), consisting of both Direct and Independent representatives. As a key member of our dynamic team, the Regional Sales Manager will also play a pivotal role in driving growth and success while fostering strong relationships with existing dealers and the Architect, Interior Design, and Builder communities. This is an exceptional chance to join a market-leading company with a differentiated brand and product that is fun to sell.

Location: Must be centrally located within the Western region, preferably California, with convenient access to a major airport (e.g. San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Los Angeles)

Highlights of the role: 

1. Sales Team Leadership:

· Lead, mentor, and support a team of Territory Sales Managers, consisting of both TruStile Direct Representatives and Independent Representatives.

· Provide guidance and coaching to the team to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and ability to drive results.

2. Territory Plan Development and Execution

· Work with Territory Sales Managers to develop effective sales plans for their territories.

· Develop sales plans specifically for the Northeastern region, aligned with the goal of driving growth at existing dealers and with the target end users.

· Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to understand their dealer’s needs, goals, and challenges, and assist in providing tailored solutions and activities to strengthen the partnership with TruStile Doors.

· Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities within the region for the executive team.

3. Region Analysis and Market Insights:

· Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities within the region to identify potential growth areas and opportunities for increasing market share.

· Utilize data and insights to develop effective strategies for engaging with target end users and driving demand.

4. Demand Generation with Architects, Interior Designers, and Builders

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, and Builders throughout the region.

· Drive demand for TruStile Doors’ products by promoting the brand’s value proposition and highlighting the product’s unique features and benefits to key decision-makers.

· Plan and execute events targeted at Architects, Interior Designers, and Builders to showcase TruStile Door’s products and foster strong relationships.

5. Product Training and Expertise:

· Excel at delivering captivating training sessions to educate diverse stakeholders about TruStile Door’s extensive product offerings.

· Demonstrate a genuine passion for understanding the intricate details of our product line, allowing the Regional Sales Manager to become a subject matter expert capable of effectively training the sales team, customers, and end-users about the compelling benefits our products bring to projects.

6. Customer Issue Resolution:

· Act as a point of contact for TSMs and dealers in handling and resolving customer’s issues promptly and effectively.

· Collaborate with internal departments such as Account Management and Operations to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.

7. Collaborative Communication:

· Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Account Management to ensure a unified approach to supporting and growing sales and demand generation activities.

· Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to drive product improvements and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field

· Proven experience (at least 5 years) in sales management, preferably within the building materials, construction, or dealer-based industry.

· Proven ability to lead and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, comprising both Direct and Independent representatives.

· Demonstrated success in driving growth and maximizing sales performance at existing dealerships.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse sales team.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· In-depth understanding of dealer-based sales techniques, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.

· Experience in conducting presentations and training sessions in front of large groups.

· Experience with lead management software

· Must be located centrally within the region allowing for easy travel and accessibility to various locations. Preferred central location is near a major airport in California.
