Supervision of Others

Direct the supervision of Account Coordinators. They are a reflection of your work. Notify director of any issues. The Director supervises Assistant Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities
55% Managing Account Coordinators:

Hold Account Coordinators accountable to the Basecamp note template

Making sure Account Coordinators follow through with which package the client may receive

Make sure all essential information is acquired from the client meetings

Assist Account Coordinators in facilitating client meetings (in certain situations)

Make sure Inkblot standards are met and then sign off on proofs before they go to the staff supervisor

Make sure Account Coordinators notify all associated parties on each project update

Notify director when there is a mistake or there is a problem with the account coordinators

Hold Account Coordinators accountable to project deadlines and timelines

Assist Account Coordinators in creating unique promotions for events that have all the required information on time

Be prepared to discuss any project with entire Inkblot team in weekly staff meetings

Held accountable for holding the timeline for each project and event
 

15% Working with other departments to better promote:

Facilitating bi-monthly creative meetings

Identify areas of ASUN that would be well served utilizing our services

Keep a running list of those projects so we can start them during slow times

Get to know our potential clients to ensure positive relations when possible

15% Assisting Director:

The assistant director will be expected to assist the director with planning and implementing new marketing plans when they come up

In certain cases, work with the director to assign projects, deadlines, and design aesthetics for projects to designers

Review finished work orders with director to identify strengths and weaknesses of each project and to make sure everything is fulfilled
 

10% Special Duties:

Post TV ads for completed projects as soon as they are approved

Maintain the NAS drive and make sure it stays organized

Post the current promotions in the 5 kiosks across campus every Friday- take notes if one is broke, periodically replace the standard posters inside, make sure no promos are taped on outside kiosks from outside people

Stamping promotions for the dorms at the office of residential life, food and housing every Friday

Distribute all printed materials- including business cards, handbills, special orders, etc.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must:

Be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno

Have a working knowledge of ASUN, Inkblot, and University policies and why they exist

Understand the ASUN, Inkblot and client working environment

Develop a general understanding of how design works

Develop an understanding of Inkblot resources and organization tools

Demonstrate respect in any and all interactions

Demonstrate an understanding of the Marketing field

Demonstrate excellent organization skills

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Develop understanding of Axis TV system

Be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Be able to understand the big picture; Ex. How everything works together and what each step is going to lead to.
