We are seeking an  Office Engineer (CM Engineer)  to join our Duluth, GA team The successful candidate for this position will be performing advanced level technical, engineering, and administrative work supporting engineers and project managers in functional areas of roadway/bridge construction and rehabilitation projects. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Project responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reviewing and processing progress and final construction reports and construction contract modifications;
Monitoring and reporting Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for compliance; Reviewing plans for constructability; Reviewing and approving subcontract agreements as required; Attending project related meetings; Reviewing and processing documentation for project close-out.

Requirements

Minimum requirements: 

Civil Engineering Technology degree or Construction Management degree and five (5) years of road and bridge construction and/or maintenance engineering and inspection experience; or High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of road & bridge construction and/or maintenance engineering and inspection experience.

Technical requirements:

Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative. Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize – Efficiency in time management. Strong Organizational skills. Ability to anticipate and plan for client's needs to meet or exceed client expectations. Professional and timely communication with staff, clients, and other project team members both internal and external. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
