JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Senior Civil Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our client’s team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
  • Registration in Georgia preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional land development experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects including:
    • Managing multiple, concurrent projects.
    • Leading design team efforts.
    • Successfully managing project budgets and schedules.
    • Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team.
    • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of civil construction documents, and earthwork calculations.
  • Stormwater experience in Georgia and Southeast USA preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Specification preparation experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster long term client relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus.
