This pivotal role within Thought Machine’s AMER operations offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead our regional strategy. As Managing Director, you will oversee a team of Sales Directors and Sales Engineers, playing a hands-on role in sales activities, managing large-scale contracts, and driving the local team’s success. Duties: Provide operational leadership across all functions in the AMER region Build, recruit, and nurture a high-performing team spanning Sales, Commercial, Finance & Operations, and Client Services Foster a strong local culture and team spirit within our AMER region Lead deep contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company strategy Develop and expand our market proposition across North America Cultivate relationships with executive sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers to support sales targets Enable the sales team to surpass annual regional targets for software licensing and professional services contracts Establish credibility by engaging directly with clients during key stages of the sales process
Requirements
