Position Overview

As a part of our dedicated team, the Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all company-owned equipment and attachments are maintained at adequate levels needed to meet production/distribution demand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to oil changes, diagnostics and evaluation of mechanical problems, maintenance and upkeep, parts ordering/organization, and the recording of maintenance tasks performed. 

What you’ll do:

Perform services and repairs to company-owned equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. Complete paperwork pertaining to maintenance of equipment in a timely manner. Research, order, and maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.

Skills We Are Seeking

Basic knowledge of mechanical operations for heavy equipment with a background in diagnostics preferred Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently Must possess strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines and achieve desired goals Must be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs High school diploma or equivalent preferred
