POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the Project Manager and the project team to achieve organizational objectives. This position is responsible for overseeing assigned construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule while maintaining a safe work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties include:
  • Assisting in the management and execution of project contracts.
  • Creating and presenting detailed reports and spreadsheets.
  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control for project materials and equipment, including document management.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with project superintendents through site visits.
  • Generating and managing project documentation throughout all phases, including RFIs, submittals, and specifications.
  • Exhibiting attention to detail and integrity in all work outputs.
  • Demonstrating flexibility in work assignments and locations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Participating in meetings as required.
  • Adhering to all company policies and safety programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior internship or field experience in mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Understanding of construction contract terminology.
  • Local market knowledge is advantageous.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to various industry-specific software applications.
