POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Specialist will be assigned work duties and responsibilities in one of the following business areas (billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, cash application, accounts payable) of the Accounting department. Specialist will be responsible for performing these work duties and responsibilities in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out responsibilities according to best in class team procedures within specific deadlines. Respond to inquiries timely and accurately. Identify and document root cause issues. Accurately record time worked each day. Perform additional responsibilities as needed. Perform complete billing responsibilities through invoice proposal, submission, resolution, and payment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business preferred; high school diploma required. Two years of professional experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Experience using CaseAware required.

General Competency Factors:

Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills. Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers Identifies and solves issues in a timely manner. Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary. Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task. Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action.
