Medical Call Center Agent, Full Time

Provides support to medical offices primarily by answering incoming calls. Tasks will include scheduling appointments, sending messages to providers’ office, respond to patient inquiries, and processing communication within the electronic medical record system to appropriate resource.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 or 8:00-4:30
Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
One year related medical office or medical assistant experience preferred. Minimum of one to two years customer service experience required. Minimum of one to two years in heavy/high call volume phone setting in either call center and/or medical facility preferred.Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
Light typing skills and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of specific computer software may be required for designated areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to learn new computer systems and retrieve required data. Must maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, or financial records.-
