 Responsibilities:


Initial Assessment and Planning:

  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions to understand client needs and objectives.
  • Perform feasibility studies to assess the viability of migration projects.
  • Develop comprehensive migration plans based on gathered requirements and feasibility analysis.

Migration Strategy Development:

  • Create migration roadmaps outlining key milestones and timelines.
  • Plan resource allocation and team assignments for efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Data and Display Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough data mapping exercises to identify source and destination data points.
  • Inventory existing displays and visualization assets for migration assessment.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing data storage and display efficiency.

Design and Configuration:

  • Design templates and frameworks for data migration and visualization.
  • Customize AVEVA PI configurations to meet specific project requirements.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability between existing systems and AVEVA PI platform.

Migration Execution:

  • Execute display conversion tasks according to migration roadmap.
  • Integrate migrated data with AVEVA PI system for seamless functionality.
  • Monitor migration progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution.

Testing and Validation:

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of migrated data and displays.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met throughout the migration process.
  • Address any discrepancies or errors identified during testing phases.

Documentation and Deployment Plan:

  • Document all aspects of the migration process including methodologies, configurations, and testing results.
  • Develop deployment plans outlining steps for implementation and rollout.
  • Communicate deployment plans to stakeholders and coordinate execution activities.

Post-Migration Support and Optimization:

  • Provide ongoing support to users’ post-migration to address any issues or concerns.
  • Optimize AVEVA PI configurations for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on post-migration feedback and observations.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with AVEVA PI
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or their technical equivalent
  • Proven experience in AVEVA PI system implementation and migration projects
  • Strong understanding of industrial data systems and processes
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong communication skills and engaging personality to liaise with stakeholders, including clients, technical teams, and senior management.
