Vanguard is seeking a dynamic and innovative Lead Front-End Engineer to guide our development team as we expand.

This individual will collaborate with a skilled group of Front-End Engineers, alongside designers and back-end developers, to seamlessly integrate code with a state-of-the-art design framework.


In this position, the Lead Front-End Engineer will work closely with internal teams to conceptualize, develop, test, and troubleshoot advanced component engineering utilizing cutting-edge technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
  • Integrate third-party solutions effectively.
  • Translate technical specifications into code for complex new projects or enhancements for internal stakeholders.
  • Develop programs, write code, test deliverables, and generate reports.
  • Utilize software development methodologies to ensure that testing supports automation.
  • Deploy code into development, testing, and production environments on schedule, providing ongoing production support.
  • Submit change control requests and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies and architectural standards.
  • Mentor and train less experienced staff while resolving complex issues.
  • Engage in design, code, and test inspections throughout the project lifecycle to identify potential problems.
  • Communicate technical considerations in meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct systems analysis activities with a comprehensive understanding of client business functions and technology requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies, ensuring deliverables meet established standards.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, Angular, and JavaScript.
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A strong enthusiasm for front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, VUE, and plain JavaScript.
  • A keen eye for design and user interface considerations is advantageous.
