The Accreditation Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating interdisciplinary activities to continually improve patient care and provide an environment of continued readiness related to government and accreditation regulations.

Your Everyday

Develops, revises, and implements policies and procedures that promote quality care and regulatory compliance. Prepares and maintains materials and supplies required for meetings and projects. Supports the system-wide performance improvement activities through project, team leadership, and facilitation. Collaborates with customers in designing processes that improve quality, cost, and delivery of services. Facilitates the interaction of appropriate personnel into high performing teams and utilizes effective communication strategies to ensure achievement of intended outcomes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Must-Haves

Minimum:

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Required: 5 years of experience in process improvement and accreditation.


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration and/or Operations. Preferred: Master's Degree Business Administration and/or Operation.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge of TJC standards and other regulations. Ability to maintain existing licenses, registrations, certifications, and other credentials. Results-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Coaching and mentoring are essential attributes to this position.
