Responsibilities:
Review all invoices and ensure conformity to agency policies and procedures. Contact vendors for invoices or discrepancies and see to their ultimate correction Contact management for invoices or other accounts payable matters Prepare monthly payment to vendors Maintain and update profile of all vendors Maintain and update profile of consultants requiring 1099 report Handle mailing of payment to vendors File all documents relevant to the accounts payable area Assist Senior Accountants in obtaining accounts payable information for auditors Execute other related assignments as requested by supervisorQualifications:
High School Diploma/ HSE required; Associate degree preferred Two years in bookkeeping experience preferred Good arithmetic skills Good communication and organizational skills Good knowledge of computers, including Excel, Microsoft Word and the InternetWork Schedule : Full time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours a week, with a Hybrid work schedule.
