The right individual for this role will work with Holland & Knight’s Billing Attorneys and assistants, as a liaison with clients, for the purpose of resolving client non-payment issues to improve collection realization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Communicate and interact with attorneys, assistants, and clients. Respond to collection related requests quickly, effectively, and accurately. Work with peers and management on collection related requests. Responsible for an attorney assignment (approximately 75 Billing Attorneys). Manage assigned attorneys’ inventory, specifically monitoring and resolving aged invoices, credit balances, and aged unbilled work. Handle all aspects of client outreach (via email, phone, and/or mail) to resolve non-payment issues. Communicate and report to leadership on delinquent collections and at risk inventory. Assist with the training of new team members, as needed.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of work in a professional environment or 1-2 year of work as a Client Accounts Representative. Must be self-motivated and possess a high level of professionalism. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use good judgment. Excellent computer skills. Proficient knowledge of accounting functions. Working knowledge of MS Office.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but may be substituted for relevant work experience.
