Job Summary:
Washington Care Center in is seeking a Resident Care Manager (RCM) - RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants. Develops a plan of care for residents by evaluating and assessing the resident's complete needs. Will arrange and coordinate all services to insure residents plan is being met while reevaluating and making changes as necessary to insure resident health, safety and general wellbeing. Must be a Registered Nurse.
Essential Functions:
Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Required: Current WA or Compact RN/LPN licensure in good standing. Required: 2+ years in supervisory/management position, including experience with budgets, staff development, training and scheduling Required: Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting. Required: Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities Working knowledge of MDS process, state and federal survey, and CMS Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems. Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.Benefit Highlights:
