As a Pharmacy Technician you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm CST

Location:  Warrenville Rd Downers Grove, IL (5th floor)

If you reside in Illinois, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month, other days will be remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with clinical pharmacistsProvide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmaciesAssess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a clinical pharmacist when appropriateOutbound calls to CAHPs detractors and Med Adh Members to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugsDocument and track member engagement

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED (or higher) Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of IllinoisNational Pharmacy Technician Certification3+ years of pharmacy technician experience Beginner level of proficiency with navigating MS Office and a Windows-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experienceExperience with Part D claims adjudication
