Position Summary

The HR Manager is a strategic leader responsible for aligning human resources practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. This role involves managing a team of HR professionals and partnering with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's goals. The Senior HR Manager is instrumental in driving organizational success by fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to partner effectively with business leaders to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives. Provide strategic input and leadership on HR decisions affecting the organization. Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, understanding their needs and challenges, and providing HR solutions that drive business performance. Collaborate with leaders to develop workforce plans, talent management strategies, and organizational development initiatives. Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and employee engagement. Employee Relations: Foster a positive working environment and culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies. HR Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements. Compensation and Benefits: Executing comp and benefit programs and partnering with that team on specific initiatives or individual cases Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within the HR department. Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and implementation. Support business leaders in managing change and developing strategies to mitigate resistance. Experience with organizational design. HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Provide regular reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (masters degree or HR certification preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a management role. Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
