Position Summary

The HR Manager serves as a strategic leader, tasked with aligning human resources initiatives with business goals to enhance organizational effectiveness. This position involves overseeing a team of HR professionals and collaborating with business leaders to formulate and execute HR strategies that support the company's objectives. The Senior HR Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a constructive work environment and ensuring adherence to HR policies and regulations. This role demands a strategic mindset, robust leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders to achieve targeted results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Design and implement HR strategies that align with overarching business goals. Provide strategic insights and leadership on HR-related decisions impacting the organization.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, comprehending their needs and challenges, and delivering HR solutions that enhance business performance. Collaborate with leadership to create workforce plans, talent management strategies, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment and selection processes to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent. Manage performance appraisal systems to promote high performance and employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive workplace culture that encourages employee engagement and satisfaction. Address employee relations matters promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Compensation and Benefits Management: Execute compensation and benefits programs while collaborating with the relevant teams on specific initiatives or individual cases.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within the HR department.
  • Change Management: Spearhead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and implementation. Support business leaders in managing change and developing strategies to mitigate resistance, with experience in organizational design.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Leverage HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and enhance HR processes. Provide regular updates to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
