Overview

Position Summary: Part of overall IT Infrastructure team to provide first and second level support to internal IT customers. To maintain and enhance existing infrastructure systems throughout the organization including Windows 10/11 computers, Office 365, networked printers, cellular phones, and windows server environments.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Support Team to address Snap-on Credit Associate technical issues. This includes taking associate calls, working with the Support Team ticketing system, and follow-up communication once issues are resolved
  • Build, configure, support, and diagnose Snap-on Credit's Libertyville office Windows 10/11 computers
  • Participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of the IT Infrastructure and Support Team
  • Develop, define, and communicate user/technical procedures for products supported by the IT Infrastructure and Support Team
  • Interact with other departments to implement and maintain critical applications and solutions to improve productivity
  • This position has frequent in-person and phone contact with users, peers, and managers
  • Strong ability to investigate, upgrade, and stage new technologies as needed

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Window 10/11 operating system
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Initial education in Computer Studies or other technical field
  • Effectively communicate technical issues in simple terms to fellow associates
  • Clear communication with fellow IT team members and Management team
  • Able to adapt to a changing environment and priorities

Effort: Part-time work during normal office hours

Working Environment: Normal office environment
