We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts to join the L3Harris Maritime Sector’s Contracts organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for complex RFP review and risk assessment, proposal strategy and preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned contracts and programs.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and its customers
• Analyzes proposal materials and estimates to ensure accuracy and risk capture
• Leads cross-functional team to prepare proposals and approvals
• Leads customer negotiation process; provides mentorship to junior team members on negotiations
• Champions and leads program change management process with internal and external team
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
• Ability to clearly present information to broad audience, inclusive of management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contract terms and conditions with commercial, international and US Government customers Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a team environment Active Secret Security Clearance

Ability to think critically, problem solve and work independently Microsoft Office Suite proficiency NCMA Certification Prior US Navy customer Contracting experience
