About the opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler based at our Lang Lang Sand Quarry located within the Shires of Bass Coast, Cardinia and South Gippsland local government areas.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure all maintenance planning services for our operation are conducted to optimum standard and meet target reliability in the most efficient manner.
Detailed responsibilities are found int the PD which is available upon request and will include:
Developing long, medium and short-term maintenance strategies in conjunction with the Site and Group maintenance objectives Championing the ethos of the group maintenance manual and site practices in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibility for the Plant CMMS and acting as gatekeeper for system integrity. Controlling all maintenance related data and develop extended maturity within the system. Controlling and managing Critical item and general store inventory inclusive of re-stock and continuous development. Ensuring targeted reliability and safety at optimum cost and maximised utilisation of resources. Developing and enhancing in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager the site wide preventative maintenance model and statutory inspection plan. Planning & scheduling of breakdowns and break in works. • Contractor management for day-to-day activities as well as contract labour coordination.About you:
Demonstrated maintenance experience in either mining or manufacturing environments. Trade qualification (desirable). CMMS proficiency (SAP will be highly regarded). Experience planning shutdowns, general maintenance and an embedded understanding of planned and preventative maintenance best practice. Experience in scoping and scheduling of technical works. Experience navigating and maintaining quality systems. Exposure to RCA processes. Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings. Ability to diagnose and evaluate technical issues.You will have a positive attitude towards safety with an ability to demonstrate leadership in this area. You will also have a commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, local legislation and will be excited at the opportunity of working as part of a high performing maintenance team.
