Currently we are looking for a full timeScheduling Specialist for our E Ajo Way location in Tucson.
Schedule needed:Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm
PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIESThe Scheduler is responsible for scheduling referralappointment for Initial Evaluation and following visitsrescheduling and canceling appointments as applicable and sometimesquick verification of patient's demographical information.Sorting every inbound referral and eFax to appropriate subfolderwithin 24 hours to allow scheduling of every referral appointmentwithin 2448 hours. Working referral stages for the purpose ofscheduling Initial Evaluations for new patients. Handling inboundcall volume as well as placing outbound calls.
Knowledge Skills andAbilities
- Analysis ofincoming referrals to obtain all demographic data necessary toschedule an initial appointment.
- Understandingof Insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior toscheduling if required
- CollaborationCommunication Skills Interpersonal Skills Technical and Schedulingskills to assist patients with appointment time and date forInitial Evaluation and the 5 following visits.
- Thorough knowledge of problemsolvingmethodologies.
- Ability to show and practicestrong teamwork capabilities.
- Ability toorganize and prioritize various demands.
- Strong presentation communication skills.
- Action oriented and driven for results.
- A selfstarter and to work with minimaldirection.
- Ability to work with a sense ofurgency to meet deadlines.
- Ability tocommunicate complex information in a well thoughtout easilyunderstood manner both orally and in writing in a variety ofsettings and styles.

Experience: atleast two years of relevant work experience and theskills necessary for the position
Language: Bilingualpreferred
PhysicalRequirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged standing sitting some bending stoopingand stretching. Requires eyehand coordination and manual dexterityenough to operate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculatorand other office equipment.
