Currently we are looking for a full time Scheduling Specialist for our E Ajo Way location in Tucson.
Schedule needed: Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThe Scheduler is responsible for scheduling referral appointment for Initial Evaluation and following visits rescheduling and canceling appointments as applicable and sometimes quick verification of patient's demographical information. Sorting every inbound referral and eFax to appropriate subfolder within 24 hours to allow scheduling of every referral appointment within 2448 hours. Working referral stages for the purpose of scheduling Initial Evaluations for new patients. Handling inbound call volume as well as placing outbound calls.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Analysis of incoming referrals to obtain all demographic data necessary to schedule an initial appointment.
- Understanding of Insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior to scheduling if required
- Collaboration Communication Skills Interpersonal Skills Technical and Scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for Initial Evaluation and the 5 following visits.
- Thorough knowledge of problemsolving methodologies.
- Ability to show and practice strong teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize various demands.
- Strong presentation communication skills.
- Action oriented and driven for results.
- A selfstarter and to work with minimal direction.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a well thoughtout easily understood manner both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles.
- Ability to delegate and communicate in an honest direct and professional manner relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.

Experience: at least two years of relevant work experience and the skills necessary for the position
Language: Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged standing sitting some bending stooping and stretching. Requires eyehand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculator and other office equipment.
