Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Wage: $17.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a company in Pewaukee, WI. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments. This could include creating shipping documents and pulling inventory from the shelves. Once the order has been filled, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for monitoring each shipment to make sure that outgoing packages are packed correctly and accurately. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments contents and compare with records to verify accuracy
- Prepare documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping orders to route product
- Determine shipping method for products using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
- Record shipment date, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies for purposes of reporting, accounting and record keeping
- Contact carriers to make arrangements and to issue instructions for the shipping and delivery of products
- Confer and correspond with Operations Manager to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
- Pull order from warehouse racks using an RF scanner gun
- Stage and palletize product in warehouse
- Perform light Quality Control checks to ensure that products are correct with what we ordered
- Continually support production with supplies and material to meet required production rates
- Communicate well with team members
- Independently complete assigned job set up tasks in a timely manner 

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Requirements:
- High school level mathematics
- Forklift operation
- Lift up to 90lbs
- Read and write English language
- Understand standard and metric measurements
- Strong computer skills
