Job Overview:

As a vital member of the Production Team at Pacer Staffing, your primary responsibilities will include the assembly and disassembly of pumps, along with conducting hydrostatic and performance evaluations. You will also be tasked with managing inventory, fulfilling orders for pumps and parts, identifying components, preparing and painting orders, and ensuring final packaging for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble orders for pumps and parts
  • Disassemble and repair pumps as needed
  • Conduct hydrostatic and performance tests on pumps
  • Receive and stock inventory efficiently
  • Prepare and paint pump and parts orders
  • Package and ship pump and parts orders accurately
  • Follow company safety protocols and procedures

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with various tax filings related to income and non-income matters.
  • Help coordinate responses to tax inquiries and communicate with tax authorities.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to manage expectations and ensure timely task completion.
  • Support the implementation of internal communication platforms to enhance correspondence with the Tax department.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Tax Department as needed.
  • Maintain budget analysis for the tax department and track vendor invoices with third-party advisors.
  • Manage tax return filing schedules and coordinate meetings effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • Mechanical skills, basic computer proficiency, and a preference for diverse tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in mechanical assembly and familiarity with rotating equipment is preferred.
  • Experience operating Fork-Lifts or Cranes is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequently required to stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull, and move around the facility.
  • Capability to climb ladders, lift and carry heavy items, and perform manual labor.
  • Willingness to work in environments with heights, confined spaces, and near water.
  • Experience with material handling equipment, hand tools, and daily exposure to shop conditions.
  • Ability to walk or stand for at least 8 hours a day.
  • Flexibility to work overtime occasionally.

Work Environment:

The role is primarily based in a shop environment, involving the use of material handling equipment and hand tools, with regular exposure to various shop elements.
