Job Overview:

As a vital member of the Production Team at Pacer Staffing, your primary responsibilities will include the assembly and disassembly of pumps, along with conducting hydrostatic and performance evaluations. You will also manage inventory by receiving and stocking materials, processing orders for pumps and parts, identifying components, preparing and painting items, and ensuring proper packaging for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble orders for pumps and parts
  • Disassemble and repair pumps as needed
  • Conduct hydrostatic and performance tests on pumps
  • Receive and organize inventory supplies
  • Prepare and paint pump and parts orders
  • Package and ship pump and parts orders efficiently
  • Follow company safety protocols and procedures

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with various tax filings related to income and non-income matters.
  • Help coordinate responses to tax inquiries and communicate with tax authorities.
  • Work with external advisors to manage expectations and ensure timely task completion.
  • Support the implementation of internal communication platforms to enhance correspondence with the Tax department.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Tax Department as required.
  • Maintain budget analysis for the tax department and track vendor invoices related to third-party advisors.
  • Manage tax return filing schedules and organize meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic computer skills and a preference for diverse tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in mechanical assembly and familiarity with rotating equipment is preferred.
  • Experience operating Fork-Lift and Crane equipment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, squat, push, pull, and move throughout the facility
  • Capability to climb ladders, lift and carry heavy items, and perform manual labor.
  • Ability to work in environments involving heights, confined spaces, and near or above water.
  • Proficient in using material handling equipment, hand tools, and daily exposure to shop conditions
  • Must be able to walk or stand for at least 8 hours each day
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Work Environment:

The work will take place in a shop setting, utilizing material handling equipment and hand tools, with regular exposure to various shop elements.
