Our fast-paced clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. BONUS $500 (half at 30 days, other half at 90)

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures as needed.
  2. Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, medications, and test results, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  3. Administrative Duties: Perform front office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  4. Equipment Management: Ensure all medical equipment is properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
  5. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining adequate levels of medical and office supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and placing orders as needed.
  6. Patient Education: Provide patients with instructions for medications, treatments, and procedures, ensuring they understand their care plan and follow-up instructions.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care delivery.
  8. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization and workflow enhancements.
  9. Compliance: Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA guidelines and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program preferred.
  2. Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a medical assistant in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  3. Ability to perform Phlebotomy, intramuscular injects and manual vitals.
  4. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical software applications.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards of conduct.
  8. Flexibility to work all clinical hours and 3 Saturdays a month from 8am-12pm (Will have weekday off when working Saturday)
