Development and Operations is responsible for design, construction, operation, and maintenance on the 53-acre Lot in Century City.

The Critical Facility Plant Manager is responsible for all operational aspects sustaining uptime of the Network Center, several campus buildings serving mission-critical broadcast, control, and editing with associated data center environments and essential facilities including a satellite broadcast (uplink/downlink) compound. The role additionally oversees tenant MEP support services over the 600,000 square foot complex including two food service areas.

A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities:

Leadership of on-site physical plant operations to ensure functionality, dependability, and consistency 24/7 with direct leadership of eleven (11) union technicians.

• Apply practical engineering experience to manage daily maintenance and operation of power, cooling, heating, plumbing, and related equipment/infrastructure including:

o Critical environments of data centers, edit suites, production control, and technical equipment rooms with related support infrastructure; UPS systems, standby generators, chiller plants, and cooling towers with N+1 redundancy.

o Base building systems of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire / life safety system supporting Class A office space.

• Responsible for employee training and development, ensuring staff is adequately capable to perform their duties.

• Develop, manage, and apply change management protocol for significant work via Method of Procedure (MOP) / Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Work Authorizations (WA).

• Maintain, develop, and implement consistent plant management, engineering, and operational functionality:

What You Will Need:

 Associate or bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering field, and/or 10 years progressive experience overseeing mission-critical infrastructure including, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems installation, operation, and maintenance. > PREFERED DATA CENTER EXPERIENCE

 Competence in Building Automation Systems (BAS)

 Demonstrated knowledge and ability operating and maintaining critical environments and facilities with change management protocols.

 Available and on call 24/7.

Nice to Have But Not a Deal Breaker

 Competence in Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Branch Circuit Monitoring (BCM) and Computer Maintenance Management System software (CMMS)

 Experience in a campus environment with multiple tenants/stakeholders

 Professional Certification – Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field, Certified Professional Manager (CPMM), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or related accreditations
