We are seeking a dedicated Central Admission Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admission process for our patients.

Position Overview:

The Central Admission Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the patient admission process across Kingston Healthcare facilities. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless admission experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Admissions: Manage and coordinate the patient admission process, including verifying patient information, insurance coverage, and eligibility. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding admission inquiries and status updates. Provide clear and accurate information about the admission process and address any questions or concerns. Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, case managers, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient patient admissions. Coordinate with external healthcare providers and agencies as needed to facilitate patient transitions. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Generate and analyze reports related to admissions data and trends. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the admissions department and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to patient admissions and data privacy.


Qualifications:

Active Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare admissions, patient registration, or a related role. Strong understanding of healthcare insurance and reimbursement processes. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
