Position Summary:
As the Quality Technical Specialist, you will perform all quality related activities required to ensure the condition for quality exists for all the products produced and shipped at the MMDC (Marshall Manufacturing Distribution Center). Ensure all quality documentation is up to date. Oversee the use, calibration, and training for all Laboratory instruments. Work with Engineering on validations for new products and processes. Support the quality team leadership as needed. Promote the company values and culture and follow all Instant Brands policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and complete documentation reports for FAI (First Article Inspections) for new products and samples. Maintain Product standard and drawing documents so they are available for reference. Update and maintain BMS (Business Management System) documents as needed for the MMDC and prepare for quality system audits. Create and update work instructions that are accurate and easy to follow for production operations. Support Quality inspectors with product defect identification and non-conforming material investigations. Compile and present quality and testing data in a timely, accurate and easy to understand format. Assist with new hire quality training, Quality share presentations and the training of quality inspectors on laboratory equipment and processes. Perform other duties as instructed by the Q.A. supervisor or as necessary to maintain efficient operation at Instant Brands Complete special projects, testing, and measurements as needed.Additional Responsibilities
Support training needs for Manufacturing and quality teams. Report and present department KPI’s daily Perform in line and start up inspection process in manufacturing and distribution as needed. Effectively communicate through presentations and reports. Maintain engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct non-conforming product investigations and NCMR process. Master lab equipment and train as needed. Master inspection processes and train as needed.Standard Responsibilities

Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED B.S. is preferred. 2+ years’ experience in Quality Experience with working in a fast-paced assembly environment Proficient user of Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with basic quality assurance tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Demonstrated knowledge of quality concepts such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), defective parts per million (DPPM), and Non-Conforming material report (NCMR). Ability to read Engineering drawings.
